What is the problem?

The situation in Qatar needs to be addressed as most of the youth are getting health problems. The youths are the next generation and if their health is allowed to deteriorate, we shall have a country with sick people and people suffering from different kinds of chronic diseases. (Ibrahim et. al.,2018)
The general health standards of Qatari youth have been a concern due to the indoor lifestyle of the country’s culture. It is significant to note that this project investigates the effects of inactive life and peoples’ habits in active physical life.

The Last Village is an entertainment center for young people in Qatar to promote physical activities through gaming. My idea is to create a blend of dystopian, futuristic, and traditional Qatari styles to build a new visual language for the center. The Qatari arch represents the Qatari people; how the lack of physical activities will lead to sickness and a dark future is represented by the dystopian; futuristic lighting shows hope, energy, and an alternative solution by gaming to promote people to become more active
